Whether you are using your car to commute on a daily basis like me, or you are an occasional driver, you have surely by now established the need and necessity for drivers.

As conscious members of traffic, we want to be safe and we want to back up whatever negative occurrence that took place on the street with a credible evidence, both for our own personal archive and in the event of a lawsuit.

And it is no surprise that dash cams have become a commonplace gadget in cars nowadays, because they seem to have a positive effect on road safety after all. Perhaps that is why it is only natural that dash cams such as the Blacksys CH-300 are becoming more and more popular.

I took a great deal of time analyzing the Blacksys CH-300 dashcam in detail. Read on to find out what details we discovered about it.

The Blacksys CH-300 dashcam is one of the latest releases from this brand. From our assessment, we can freely conclude that it is an all-round dash camera with all the necessary features, while the reliance and quality of the product are on a high level as well. This camera records at a quality of 1440p on the front, and 1080p on the back unit.

Simple Design

Its simplistic design and appearance round off a great product when it comes to dash cams. The vast number of features of this dash camera surely make it one of the most appealing picks currently on the market. The front and back camera of the Blacksys CH-300 come with the benchmark standard Exmor sensor.

If you are like me and care about the design and appearance of a product, this might just be the right choice for you. The subtle, simplistic cylindrical layout of this device makes it blend in with the interior of your car seamlessly and comfortably, without attracting any unnecessary attention.

Great Supercapacitor Included

It’s capacitor capability is superb, as it can withstand high heat conditions just as well as super cold weather. This can prove as a super important feature, as it ensures the reliability and durability of this dash cam.

Motion/Impact Detection Parking Mode

Another interesting feature I found with the Blacksys CH-300 is its parking mode recording combined with motion and impact detection.

The interesting part about the motion and impact detection system on this dashcam model is that it automatically records 10 seconds of footage before the actual moment of motion/impact detection (providing the all important moments leading up to the event of motion/impact), and also 10 seconds upon the moment of motion/impact.

This way you can be sure to have all the necessary footage in the occasion of an undesired turn of events while you were away from the car. The sensitivity of the G-sensor, which triggers the parking mode recording, can be set to more or less sensitive, depending on your needs, and the terrain where you’re parking your car.

If, however, you want to use this parking mode, you would have to use the hardwire cable which is included in the product bundle. If you are similar to me and do not really want to mess around with cables, this camera offers Wi-Fi connectivity.

Easy-To-Use App

As this camera does not have a screen of its own, you simply download the free BlackSys app and connect the dashcam via the Wi-Fi option to your smartphone. Any smartphone is good for this purpose, be it iOs or Android. The app enables for footage to be downloaded or streamed to the phone.

User Friendly Device

You can also toggle the recording settings of the Blacksys CH-300 to adapt them to your needs. This dash cam also has a GPS feature, with an antenna that is inserted on the roof of the vehicle included in the bundle as well. With this feature, the device helps you keep track of your speed and stamps it onto the footage.

If you decide to purchase this product, included with it will be the following accessories: parking mode hardwire cable, external GPS antenna, cigarette lighter socket power cord, external GPS antenna and a 32GB Micro SD card

The answer is yes, this dash cam has its Blacksys app which is designed for both mobile operating systems.

Unfortunately, if you want to use the parking mode, the hardwire cable has to be installed. But since the parking mode on the BlackSys CH-300 is quite sublime, it is well worth considering going the extra mile and installing the hardwire cable.

While it is true that this model has a hefty price tag, it is also true that it is one of the most consistent and high-quality choices on the market. It is guaranteed to deliver quality footage in a reliable manner.

The simple answer is if you can afford the price tag – yes. Go for it, you won’t make a mistake with this one. It is simply one of the best products on the market, and it provides a great deal of value for the money.

All in all, we can say that the Blacksys CH-300 Dash Cam is a great choice for the smart buyer. Its performance and quality are on a high level, and it provides an excellent value for the money.
