After logging into my Uber partner app, it appears that my Uber chat has gone away. I’m frustated because it seems like once you become a driver the options for reaching Uber support decrease greatly.
Is it still possible to contact Uber through their Partner chat platform?
I’m sorry you’re having trouble with Uber’s live chat feature.
According to a driver post on a popular ridesharing forum,
"Diane C (Uber Chat Rep) –
Live Chat is available for new applicants that need assistance in their application. Once you become an active driver, support is provided by email. Our support staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In order to get in contact with them you email them at [email protected]."
It looks like there used to be an Uber chat support link directly within the app, but they removed it for some reason, maknig that service exclusively available to new drivers who need help in the onboarding process.
While Uber support chat is no longer available to drivers, there are still multiple ways of getting in touch with support, including:
- Uber’s in-app support
- Email support
- Local Partner websites
- Social Media
- A few others
We recently did a writeup of each of these options, and suggest you take a look at that before proceeding.
Whichever method you choose, please make sure to be concise with support representatives and outline your issue in as much detail as possible. That will save you time reading through canned responses and give Uber reps a more detailed explanation of how they can better help you.
