Grubhub is an online food ordering company that began in 2004.

Starbucks is the largest coffee store chain in the world.

Starting in 1971 in Seattle, the company now runs more than 30,000 stores across the globe.

For those that love the convenience of Grubhub and the taste of Starbucks, rejoice in the new Gurbhub Starbucks delivery!

You can forget about the long lines in the morning or the struggle to find a parking spot because now you can get your favorite Starbucks drink and snack delivered right to your office or home.

This new service is exciting, but there are some things to know about the delivery aspect before ordering.

Keep reading to learn all about the delivery menu, fees, and mark-ups, and where you can make your Starbucks delivery dreams come true.

Does Grubhub Deliver Starbucks?

Grubhub does deliver Starbucks.

While Uber Eats is still the main delivery partner with the coffee giant Starbucks, Grubhub has recently thrown its hat into the ring.

Now, along with Uber Eats, Postmates, and Doordash, you can also get your morning coffee via the Grubhub app and delivery service.

Where Does Grubhub Deliver Starbucks?

Grubhub offers Starbucks delivery in most areas where Grubhub and Starbucks are both available.

But with more than 15,000 Starbucks stores nationwide, it’s hard to find a major city where Starbucks isn’t available.

As long as you have access to Grubhub delivery in your area, there’s a high chance you’ll be able to get your caramel macchiato delivered right to your door.

No surprise, places like Seattle and New York City are two of the most popular places for Starbucks delivery via Grubhub.

Grubhub is typically only available around major cities and densely populated areas.

You can currently order Starbucks through the Grubhub app in 45 cities, but they continue to expand their partnership.

Other major cities that offer Starbucks via Grubhub include Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Miami, and Washington DC.

What Is the Grubhub Starbucks Delivery Menu?

The Grubhub Starbucks delivery menu is not restricted in any way to food.

So whatever is available at the Starbucks you order from will be available on the Grubhub app.

So whether you want a match frappuccino, a buttery croissant, or one of those adorable yogurt and fruit parfaits, you’ll be able to have it delivered with Grubhub as long as it’s available at your selected location.

Keep in mind that Starbucks Grubhub delivery is available at true Starbucks locations, as well as other coffee shops that simply serve Starbucks products.

There is a difference. Some of the locations just ‘proudly serve Starbucks’ (WPS Starbucks) and their products may not have everything that a standard Starbucks store would offer.

This often includes hot sandwiches or bakery items, but pre-packaged foods are typically available.

The only thing you can’t have delivered from these stores is the retail items, such as the mugs and tumblers, and any other retail items that are not food.

Some of the locations will allow you to order the bags of coffee grounds, but this is a store-by-store scenario.

Grubhub can only deliver food items, and some stores do not consider the bags of coffee as food items.

But when you open the Grubhub app and select the Starbucks store nearest to you, you will e able to conveniently browse the menu.

The app also allows for plenty of customizations, making it easy to order your beverage exactly how you want it as if you were at the store yourself.

How Much Does it Cost to Get Starbucks From Grubhub?

Starbucks certainly isn’t the cheapest spot to grab your latte.

So how much does it cost to get Starbucks from Grubhub?

When you include delivery fees, service fees, driver tips, and the app mark-ups, your $4.25 coffee may cost you $12.

Many see the convenience of delivery worth it, but this section will discuss the cost, so you know what you’re getting into before even opening the Grubhub mobile app.

But you can always find promo codes, a discount, or coupons to help you save a few dollars.

Grubhub Delivery Fee

The average Grubhub delivery fee for any restaurant is around $5.

When you’re ordering dinner for four, this isn’t too bad.

But when you’re just trying to get your $5 morning latte, a $5 delivery fee can be a tough pill to swallow.

The exact delivery fee varies store by store, especially with the locations that just serve Starbucks.

But in most cities, people pay under $3 for Starbucks delivery via Grubhub.

This fee is still a hefty percentage of your total mobile order price, but other delivery order options often cost more.

Uber Eats is the main delivery partner with Starbucks, and they often charge $6 or more for Starbucks delivery.

In some cities, you can also order Starbucks via Postmates, which often costs as much as Uber Eats, if not more.

Grubhub Starbucks Mark-Up

As far as delivery mark-ups go, Grubhub isn’t too egregious.

Uber Eats will mark up delivery items by as much as 91%, usually, a price determined by the restaurant or store itself.

Because Starbucks is such a successful and widespread chain, their mark-ups aren’t too drastic, usually around 15-25%.

But these mark-ups mean that the price you pay every day for your routine Starbucks coffee and croissant will not be the price you see on the Grubhub mobile app.

But you do get the convenience of not waiting in line and having to make an extra stop on your way to work.

Wrapping Up

The Grubhub Starbucks delivery will cost you more than heading to the store, but the convenience is often worth the price.

Plus, if you’re ordering for your whole office or other people in your home, the cost of the delivery fee can seem less staggering.

Grubhub also offers a Grubhub+ membership, where you can get free delivery on all orders for a small monthly fee.

If you plan to order Starbucks every morning, this can be well worth the money!

But even if you’re just a one-time orderer, you’ll love the ease and convenience of having your familiar Starbucks coffee drink and warm meal brought directly to you.
