Using the Merchant Portal
Rating a DoorDash driver is more easily done within the DoorDash Merchant portal. In order to do so, complete the following steps:
- Access the Portal: Log in to your DoorDash Merchant Portal.
- Navigate to Orders: Click on the Orders tab to view a list of your deliveries.
- Select a Delivery: Find the delivery for which you want to provide feedback and click “Rate” next to the Dasher’s name.
- Choose Your Rating: You will have three options to rate your experience: Poor, Good, or Great. Select the one that best reflects your experience.
Reporting Issues
Beyond simply reporting issues, you can also indicate why you’re reporting them, as well as block them entirely.
If you select “Poor,” you will be prompted to submit further details. You can mark the “Dasher unprofessional” box if that was the issue.
Should the experience be severe enough that you prefer the Dasher not to return, you have the option to select “Do not offer this Dasher future deliveries from this location.”
However, as a word of caution, this decision should be made carefully, as it reduces the overall pool of Dashers available for deliveries from your location.
Using the Order Manager App
- Open the App: If you’re using a DoorDash tablet, you can rate your Dasher through the Order Manager app.
- Give Feedback: In the order details screen, click on “Give Feedback” and follow the prompts to leave your rating and feedback.

If you have a serious issue with a Dasher and do not want them to return, you can select the “Block this Dasher” option in the Order Manager app. Remember to provide a reason and any relevant details.
For any other concerns or to report a Dasher for a different reason, you can submit a Support Case via the “Help” option in the Merchant Portal’s left panel.
