Driving for Uber often means you’re constantly on the road, with no office you’re required to go to.

However, when in-person support is needed, do you know what your go-to Uber address should be?

Understanding where your company’s headquarters are located is always good information to have, and it’s a great research point before choosing to become a driver.

However, this shouldn’t be the only address you keep in mind.

This article will inform you where you can find Uber headquarters, and where you can go locally whenever you need to chat directly with an Uber representative.

What Is the Address of Uber Headquarters?

Uber address: Big coworking space

Uber’s headquarters are located in the heart of San Francisco, the city where the company was originally founded.

Uber’s address is:

  • 1455 Market St. #400
  • San Francisco, CA 94103

Situated in a former Bank of America data center, this space is currently the only true Uber headquarters location.

Uber makes up a third of this building.

However, the company does have plans to build a brand new global headquarters in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco — not to be confused with Mission Bay in San Diego — by 2020.

This expansive project will create Uber’s first large-scale, connected campus, made to house 7,000 employees across over one million square feet.

In addition to these headquarters, Uber has corporate offices across the United States, Canada, and beyond, including additional offices on Market Street.

Employees at all of these locations together create the Uber ecosystem and ensure it’s functioning every minute of every day.

It’s important to remember that the addresses of Uber’s headquarters and corporate locations are mostly just good-to-know information.

Although the address of Uber’s headquarters is public information anyone can find on Google, the space certainly isn’t open for public entry.

Only the company’s corporate employees are granted access into the location, which means Uber drivers — who are independent contractors — aren’t able to saunter in for support.

What Uber Addresses Can I Visit?

If you’re looking to speak directly with an Uber employee, Uber Greenlight Hubs are your best resource.

Greenlight Hubs are in-person support centers that provide drivers with one-on-one sessions to resolve as many questions as possible.

Experts at these locations can assist drivers with anything from signing up to navigating the Uber app.

Many Greenlight locations even offer complimentary vehicle inspections, so you can fulfill your annual requirement.

Greenlight Hubs function much like DMVs with a better reputation for friendliness and timeliness, usually connecting you to an Uber representative within 15 minutes of your check-in time.

No prior check-in is required (or possible, in most cities), but you can skip wait times by scheduling your appointment in advance in New York City and Los Angeles.

For the most accurate listing of Uber Greenlight Hubs near you:

  1. Copy and paste the URL “uber.com/drive/city-name/contact” into your browser’s address bar.
  2. Replace the city name with your designated Uber designated Uber city. For example, if you’re located in San Francisco, San Jose, or Oakland, you can use this URL: uber.com/drive/san-francisco/contact
  3. Press enter and scroll down to the map to find the closest listing.

On select cities’ contact pages, you’ll also find Uber Greenlight Spots.

These primarily exist in smaller surrounding cities with low driver demand.

Rather than dedicated Uber centers, they’re usually small kiosks in Sprint stores, shopping malls, hotel lobbies, or Sears Auto Centers.

While they’re only staffed by one or two team members, you can expect fewer people in line and the same quality of support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Uber address: Skyscrapers from above

Now that you understand the difference between Uber headquarters, corporate locations, Greenlight Hubs, and Greenlight Spots, here are our answers to additional questions that drivers frequently have:

1. What Uber address should I use if a document requests my business address?

You will typically list your personal address as your business address.

This is because all Uber drivers are independent contractors, therefore you’re legally considered your own boss.

Uber’s headquarters and corporate locations cannot be considered drivers’ places of business.

2. Can Uber Eats drivers visit Uber Greenlight locations?

Absolutely! Uber Greenlight locations support all drivers under the Uber Technologies, Inc. umbrella.

This includes drivers for its rideshare service, in addition to couriers for its food delivery service.

Prospective drivers for either platform can also receive in-person support at these locations.

3. Where are Lyft’s headquarters located?

Lyft is also headquartered in San Francisco.
Lyft’s address is:

185 Berry St. #5000
San Francisco, CA 94107

This location does not provide support to Lyft drivers and cannot be accessed by anyone but employees.

However, Lyft provides their own versions of Greenlight Hubs and Greenlight Spots, respectively called Lyft Hubs and Service Desks.

You can find locations near you on this page.
