Delivering the Grubhub Order to the Customer

Grubhub will let your customer know you’ve picked up their order. The app will continue to update them on your whereabouts as you make your way to their home or business.

Some customers might meet you outside, while others might not. It’s customary to knock or ring the doorbell to let them know their food has arrived, but if no one opens the door right away, don’t sweat it – you can leave it at their door.

If you’re delivering to a gated community, Grubhub has partnered with Amazon to create a digital key called Amazon Key that works for them.

Once you’re done with the job, you can take on another one and then another, as much as time allows, with the required driving breaks after 12 hours.
