How Scheduling Works for Spark Drivers

One of the perks of working as a Spark Driver for Walmart is the flexibility of your working hours. As a driver, you can decide when, where, and how often you make deliveries.

Drivers check the Spark Now tab whenever they have time to deliver, and can pick the orders in their preferred slots. The delivery hours are available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., allowing drivers to pick their favorite hours.

Each driver their work hours in advance for better control over their work schedule. So, you can select future delivery blocks or immediately pick one according to your availability.

Spark Delivery orders peak in the morning and early afternoon for same-day deliveries.

Some customers also place same-day orders in the evening after they come back from work. Check evening slots for available high-paying food delivery services.

There’s always a high demand during the holidays and special sales, so expect more delivery orders before Christmas, the Fourth of July, or during any big sale event.

Choosing Your Work Style

Now, can you work part-time or full-time as a Spark Driver?

Luckily, you have so much flexibility to determine the hours and days when you accept orders from the Spark app. There are slots available throughout the day, every day of the week, even on weekends.

Some people choose to become full-time drivers. Yet, many prefer to work only 10 to 20 hours per week. They can schedule their work around their primary job, family commitments, and classes.

This on-demand structure means you are never obliged to work when you don’t want to. You can actually pick your working hours to maximize your earnings by targeting peak-time deliveries.
