Some customers, for whatever reason, may fail to respond when you contact them to pick up their order or call to inform them about an issue with the order they placed.
Here’s how to handle unresponsive DoorDash customers:
- If you won’t be able to fulfill their order (for example, if it’s a restaurant problem), send a text or leave a voicemail informing them of the situation. Let them know if you’re initiating a refund or directing them to DoorDash for their refund.
- If you arrive at their location with the food and they don’t respond to your calls, wait for a few minutes. If there’s still no reply, drop it off at their door and text them a picture of where you left it.
